The winter session of Music Together® classes will consist of nine weekly, 45-minute classes held Monday through Fridays at two convenient locations. The Saline First United Methodist Church and the Dexter United Methodist Church. The winter session will begin the week of January 8, 2018.
We will feature the Bells collection for mixed age classes during the winter 2018 session. Activities in each class will include singing, rhythmic rhymes, movement, and instrument play. These activities are presented as informal, non-performance-oriented musical experiences--developmentally appropriate for children and easy for parents and caregivers--regardless of their own musical ability. Each family receives CDs and a songbook to take home! Enrolled families will receive a code to access Music Together's Family Music Zone where families can download the songs from the current song collection, in addition to exploring fun content created just for your child. To access the Family Music Zone you will create an account at www.musictogether.com/account using the code found on the inside back cover of the CD booklet. Families will also receive a quarterly e-newsletter and access to the national informative website. New families receive a wonderful Parent Education Guide. If your first choice of classes is full, please make an alternate choice as your second and third choices and indicate that you would like to be on the waiting list for your first choice. Thank you.
We will offer makeup classes for families who miss their regular classes due to illness, vacations, or other conflicts. Makeup classes can be taken at either location with either teacher. The winter session will run from January 8 through March 9th.
Families new to our Music Together classes may attend a FREE demonstration class to sample the experience before registering. Go to the Demonstration Scheduler to reserve a space for your family in a FREE demonstration class.
